Yesterday we learned that to F-I-G-H-T the spiritual fight we must first and foremost have Faith in Jesus Christ.

There’s no getting around it. We are in a spiritual war. We aren’t in a war with people, although that happens. The battle is with our scheming, vile, enemy—the devil.

In ancient mythology, there was once a man named Narcissus who noticed his reflection in the still of the stream. He immediately fell in love with his reflection and sat there gazing at his beauty night and day. Eventually, the slave of self-love died of thirst all alone by the stream.

If you’re like most people, you spend your days just trying to survive. You’ve probably said things like, “I’ve just got to get through the day,” or “Will this day ever end?” Now I know you’ve had those bad days and, sorry to say, you will probably have a bad day or two in the future. That’s life! But just getting by is not what God has planned for you. His plan for your life goes far beyond survival. His plan is one of significance.

Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you....

We try to emulate a lot of people in life, don’t we? If we want to be better at business we look for the best businessperson we can find and try to do what they do. We do the same thing with our sports, finances, parenting… you name it! We are natural-born followers.
